Default A Year Highschool ????

I`ve got a question,
I didn`t know what I had to do after my school?
Which college I had to do?...

But then I found some information about a year highschool in America and England, now I really like it.. but I`m scared I will miss my familie and friends verry much, But I also think it`s a one chance opertunity.
So I really want it, but I`m scared I will miss my home...
The organisation I found Is very good, and you can trust them, they also told me that I`m gone be placed in a familie, and I will follow one year highschool.
They also said that if I can`t get along with the familie I am placed in, They will search an other familie for me... so everything is ok. On that side...
but I`m just don`t know if I should do it... can I miss my familie so much?
and isn`t the life in America verry diverent from here? Can i get used to it??
Please help me !!!

If you want to do it I definitely think you should go for it. True, you would miss your family and friends but with phones, letters, email, etc. it's not like you wouldn't be able to talk to them at all. And I'm sure you would make new friends here as well.

Yes and that is why you call or email or write to them after you go back.

do it!

One of my best friends actually did something similar as well, not for a full year though, but she had a great time! Apparently the English being taught over there is at a similar level as over here; my friend told me that in general the classes weren't too hard or anything. So she had loads of time for meeting up with ppl, exploring the area and all sorts of activities. Sure you're going to miss your family and friends - but it must be a great experience ! And the internet is a great invention, it makes it much easier these days to go abroad for a while.

Go for it! It's a once in a lifetime experience and I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself. I studied for 3 years in the UK and it was the best time of my life. If I could do it all again I think I would have done a year in America too, but the UK was great.
On the other hand, you have to go.. so if you're not sure don't just do it because we think you should.
I'm sure you'll miss your family, but you have to spread your wings at some time and I'm sure they'll visit and they're only a phonecall away. If you really are homesick then you come back, no harm done. But it's better if you try then always think what if...
