Since when are the ford mondeo and merc c class in the same price class? I assuming your leasing from work.

I'd go for the merc tho.

.... hmmmm..... I drive a Toyota but usually always get a Mercedes when I rent a car in Germany. I continually am disappointed by the lack of the 'wow' factor of the Mercedes. I like the cars, sure, they are nice, but not even close to my Toyota. Plus I paid much less for my Toy ...

Seb, elaborate, what exactly wows you with a Mercedes? I actually find the interior rather cheesy..

Anyway:

Other than that, I, for the first time ever, actually love the new M-class ---- it actually looks good AND it's a Mercedes! Miracles do happen?

M Class is awful - AWFUL! My mum has an 07 one. It rolls about, it's useless off-road (my mum runs my bro's soccer team and so drives down mud ruts across fields etc with the kit etc) and is nothing compared to a Land Rover Discovery 3.

Cheesy? Maybe. Cheap? No. A Lexus interior often looks cheaper than it's supposed to look. Hard plastics at places it shouldn't be and all that, which is why a Lexus interior on pictures always looks stunning, while in real life the one from a Mercedes is most of the time a class above the one from a Lexus.

AdrianIT'S A FORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And it was partly developped with Volvo, plus it shares it's components with a Toyota, Landrover and Jaguar and it's made in Belgium, so what Adrian is saying doesn't make sense at all, because what's really American about it?

i prefer the looks of the merc, but the Mondeo has better features if it's going to be top of the range....

i wouldn't trade my car for any/all of those cars
