Does it mean that we deserved it?? You're right, *the government* supported the USA, not the innocent citizents who have been killed few days ago.Just for your information, when the spanish government decided to help the USA, the spanish population (millions of people) did many demonstrations saying "no" to war. There's no reason behind these cruel events.
Innocent Iraqis, innocent Spanish.
Point being, the war in Iraq's main aim wasn't to kill as many innocent people as possible whilst that is exactly what these bastards are trying to achieve.
Well they have to do that to get their point across.

And wha exactly would this point they're tryign to get across be?

At least ETA and the IRA had/ have clear objectives as to what they are fightign for whereas all that this seems to be is an attempt to destroy the west and basically turn it into an extremist Muslim state.

Not exactly as clear cut as wanting home rule for Ireland or a seperate Basque region.

If they have to do this to get their point across, their point is not valid nor coherent. No country, no religion, no ideology is worth a single human life.

Well that's very ambitious of them isn't it. 'The West' is a very big place. Do you think that they think that they will achieve this if that is what they are aiming for? Please, tell me more.

It really makes me laugh, because if this happened in any other country, then you wouldn't care about it. Most people think that way, don't worry. Just look at the amount of people who have responded to this topic.

totally wrong, cause over here there were about 20'000 people demonstrating against terror after september 11, and about 10'000 people demonstrating after this terroristic acts in madrid. and i talk only about one little city with 300'000 inhabitants, and that lies cleary in one of these "other countries".

people do care, no matter where it happens. may it be iraq, USA, spain, israel, haiti, africa, korea, .... we DO care!

Hey maybe it's you that can't understand it, but here we had demonstrations after September 11th too, you know? and we had demonstrations against the war in Iraq because we don't want innocent people dying...and we're not so close to the USA or Iraq geographically speaking. You might not believe it, but people really CARE about others. It's a shame you can't understand it.

I can understand. I am interested in what happened, but I don't care for people who I don't know. I don't feel sad knowing that a couple of hundred innocent people died. Just like I don't feel sad that more than 10,000 innocent Iraqis have died in the last year. I don't feel anything. That is just a waste of time.

And I suspect that what most people feel is a 'forced' sadness courtesy of the media. They think they should feel sad so they think that they are, but if they thought about it, they would realise that they actually don't give a sh1t.
