Oh, they do! Their previous largest attack was 21 dead in a supermarket in Barcelona. They once put a bomb in a very commercial area in central Madrid, too. They have attacked seaside resorts before as well. They don't care who they kill, they just want to kill whoever is against their silly "theories".

the american secret services say it's al kaeda. aznar says it's eta. each to what suits them i guess. but the fact that almost 200 people died doesn't change. i wonder what will happen in the spanish elections...

i have only heard what each of them believes. nothing more. but it's quite obvious why aznar would want eta and not al kaeda to have done that and why the us wants al kaeda.
what do you think?

Today they've said that an arabian newspaper or something got a letter from a group that call themselve connected to El Quaida, but not from El Quaida itself.

The ETA should have denied that they were it.

It seems to be quite difficult to say who it was. The explosive should be ETA typical, from an area where the ETA gets it's explosive but it's not typical for them to attack civilian.

Don't believe everything you read is correct. The news here is reporting that ETA is still the prime suspect and that the group claiming it was for Al Queda has lied in the past about their involvement in terrorist activities. The US are looking into it to see if what this group says is true, but they don't believe them just yet, contrary to what you have read.

My fight these days is explain that ETA has attacked civilian many times and they have been tried a massacre in Madrid since Christmas...I will say this until everyone understand it.

I think they're not gonna say whether it's ETA or Al Qaeda before the elections take place tomorrow.They're both assasins, but there would be a very different political result if we already know who did it.

You're right, but I like to think that it's because they really don't know who the culprits are, not because they are expecting it will benefit either one or the other.

Tomorrow's elections are completely unpredictable now. They sure are the most important elections in the last few years, if not the most important ever since the first ones.

I'd like to think that too, but it's strange that, if they're so sure it's Eta (I'm talking about the government), they can't say for sure "it's Eta".Strange
