Another topic with good potential to turn into a mass debate

Do you think that life exists elsewhere in the Universe?


There are of course, many sides to this argument. Not a simple yes or no.
Science can offer different views here, believeing life on Earth originated from a meteor that struck Earth, brining with it bacteria, which evolved into life. Science also has a probability formula for estimating the chances of alien life existing (the Drake Equation); what fraction of planetary systems contain a habitable planet, and on what fraction of those habitable worlds life has actually appeared. When worked out, these give infinitely small odds of life evolving elsewhere.


Personally, I believe that we are not alone in the universe.
