you not interested in picking up a g&l then? seems a shame you've got all those strats and not a legacy in there somewhere.

As soon as its carpeted and painted i will post some pics for you.
I do ok money wise but i wouldnt class myself as rich. I have only ever bought decent guitars and i have never sold any of them. Guitars have always been my passion and i look at them as an investment. at the end of the day if i sold all my gear i wouldnt lose much money on any of it. Infact most of it would make money. Im not a pro musician or anything i am just a gear head.
I thought why save money in the bank when you can use it to invest in guitars, play them for a bit and then sell them for what you got them for?
Thats my opinion anyway
As far as g and l go i agree that they are a great guitar, very well made etc but they are not strats. Im not saying strats are any better or worse than them but to me a guitar is either a strat or not. I would probably go for one but its too close to a strat without being one. If you understand what i mean? dont think im saying there crap or anything though. If i bought one it would be a telecaster (i prefer there tele to fenders)
Ive always loved the strat as a guitar and a design icon and most of my collection consists of them.
As i said dont think im bashing g and l though. The one i tried had an ash body and kicked ass but i got an ash body strat instead.
Oh and that sambora video of his gear was great. Those sambora guitars look like crap (sorry). The "beater" looks awesome. i was dissapointed because he never really siad anything. Yeah he spoke but never actually said anything if you catch my drift.
