The new electro-acoustic was an engagement present from my girlfriend after I popped the question a couple of weeks ago - she'd only been waiting 3 yrs and 10 mths. She has patience, I'll give her that!!

Thanks mate.

Sort of a mix of the two actually. We know roughly when it'll be but haven't set a specific date yet - it'll definitely be some point during summer 2008 though.

wow it's been like an episode of eastenders in here while i've been gone, it's all been happening hasn't it. when do we find out that Gaz is actually Jim Bon jovi's long lost son?

Some excellent playing going on aswell. RS8, i have the same ovation acoustic and they are fantastic. it's a beatiful colour and has a really interesting wood grain. They're so easy to play aswell.

Gaz if you want a backing track to prove people wrong then let me know your e-mail address and i'll sort one out for you.

I've just come back from hols so i should at least have the first solo uploaded onto putfile by the end of the week.

Yeah it was fantastic thanks. We went to Tunisia and did the whole tourist thing, went to see where they filmed star wars, met a family that still lived in caves and we went on a camel ride into the sahara desert. missed my guitar though, so hopefully i'll be up for recording a blistering DC solo pretty soon.

can anyone help me? i'm tryng to record my marshall combo amp direct into my recording desk. I've tried linking it up via the line out but it doesn't seem to work. by that i mean that no sound is coming through my earphones plugged in to the desk but noise is coming out of the amp as if it didn't have anything plugged into the line out. surely plugging into the line out should bypass the cabinet?
