This just proves how much Jana rocks. But I´m very happy for Alonso too, he´s the champion of the future.

It was all because of the bad starting position.

I don´t think so, Räikkönen had almost as bad a position but still came second.
Kimi was on the clean side of the track. That was the biggest reason why he got such a good start compared to Michael. Also we can't forget the fact that Michelin's tyres are way better than bridgestones.

It was a very good race: exciting from the start and was made even better by Michael's eighth place. Alonso was brilliant, Kimi and JPM (even with his Michael like spin at Indy in 2000) drove to the best positions they could.

I thought Ralf was excellent at the first corner, but that was the only place for overtaking this year, just like the old Turn 1. The other change (Turn 12) was crap, the straight was not long enough and the corner following it was too slow and tight for overtaking.

The Championship is really hotting up now: I'm not sure who will win it but I doubt that we'll see the MP-18 as Kimi is so close to MS and JPM.

Italy should be a good race; Williams were fast here last year but unreliable- they have finished more this season so that is a good omen- and McLaren should be competitive. My only doubt is whether the Michelins will be the best tyre, Ferrari seem confident about Monza. Thinking about it, last year the Michelins were good in Quali and Eddie Irvine got on the podium with those tyres, so they can't be bad around the track. Hopefully the Monza test in 10 days will show us how good teams will be.
