Am I dishonest???

I can't count the number of times I have been overcharged for something - and didn't notice until it was too late. The number of things that people have overlooked is small in comparison. I sort of figure it will all even out in the end. No - I probably wouldn't have said anything either. Do not go around feeling guilty though - it's not as though you stole the beer from them. You simply failed to notice their employee's mistake until it was too late (your Honor LOL)

i would have probably said something then smashed my head against a wall as soon as i got out of the shop. i hate being honest

I would have said something.... but that's just me. My mum always said that it will come back to you twofold, so you might win out now, but you'll lose double some place else....

If it had been a market store or a small corner shop, I might have said something but if its a supermarket..... don't they get enough money out of customers? With their 'special offers' where you end up buying two packets instead of the one you wanted just to save 10p? Then the second packet sits in the fridge, unused, till it goes out of date and into the bin.....

That has happened to me in the past with a small item or two. Never said a word

meh **** them. to be honest the bird at the checkout is on minimum wage or not much more so doesnt really care wether you get a free slab of beer and doesnt benefit in the slightest at all if you come back to get charged for it.


not that i'd ever dream of doing such a thing but the guy who owns my pub makes tens of millions of quid a year. im not exactly falling ove rmyself to chase up people who don't give the right money or whatever when I'm making just over a fiver an hour....
