ambitions?

my overall life ambition is to get a job in film (specifically, I want to act and eventually wind up directing...the way I usually tell it is "I wanna be the female Ron Howard as long as I don't have to look like him")

right now I'm in college for computer graphics (the simplified/semi-dishonest reason I'm not here for film: I want a more sensible degree to fall back on just in case...it's more complicated than that) and so my immediate goal is to get my Associate degree, preferably making the dean's list every semester and getting out of here with at least 3.5 (out of 4.0)

other ambitions: get an apartment for next year, work in an internship doing design at the paper in my hometown this summer so I can get some actual relevant experience for my resume, and get my driver's license

and of course keep doing everything in my power to make sure two years from now I'm not still at a school I don't like earning a degree in a field I can't see myself working in, but am actually at a good school studying film

I never played sports, so I don't have any trophies. I've got a Constitutional Law diploma from Patrick Henry University, but I wouldn't recommend trying to get into my house to take it.

Two more ambitions:With 30-60 credits, the tech school I attend will let you take a semester of Law Enforcement training, the completion of which will allow you to be certified as a police officer, bodyguard, security guard, or private investigator. I'm hoping to take that semester when I finish my computer degree. A year of SWAT training would be awesome too.

My ambition....I dunno...Hopefully to start uni and not flunk out in my first year. LOL
