Americans/ others idea of sports...

"lousy" is only referring to it as a game played with hands & still called football. What I don't really get is why call it football? I mean, "real" football was there way before your game. Some sort of american thing about "your game is not good enough for us, so we just use the name"?

oh, please! It's not like football (soccer) was *the* sport either. I mean, it's just 22 men running after a ball!! :P

For me, American football and European football are both alike in that sense.

I prefer other much more visual sports, but to each their own Why the need to bash American football in order to defend European football?
