yeah that's the only really true statement in your post, together with the travelling. and these two things have something to do with each other, if they would know more about the world outside the US they would realise themselves that they aren't free at all. i don't know where they have it from, but that's because they are told "we're free" since 200 years, must be that.
LOL! there are fat people all over the world. ok, there are more in the USA then elsewhere, but that's because of this horrible fast food, and that's a worldwide problem, a problem that also many european countries have for example.
disagree. there are many uneducated people there, but uneducated doesn't mean stupid. the problem here is TV (check out the other topic about that. if there are no real news on tv, how can you start thinking about the world?) and the other (much bigger) problem is their very bad education system. a country where only the rich people can afford studying at university. can't imagine that. education should be for the talented, not for the rich... if you would change "unprofessional, stupid, imature" to "uneducated" i would really agree, even so some of the most educated and intelligent people also live in the US.

KRB's post has really opened my eyes. I think if the same thing were posted last year, there would be a million people agreeing with him in order to jump on the "bandwagon." Now it seems people aren't taking him as seriously. How the mighty have fallen. Good to know that KRB's influence is waning.

On a sidenote, I know my country is far from perfect. I know that we make a lot of mistakes, but show me a "model" country. There isn't one. Everyone screws up, it is part of life. Some worse than others I understand, but it happens.

It's hard to imagine that a single glimpse of a female breast has caused such a flap. An FBI investigation why? I had no idea that we females had such power - if one breast causes such an uproar, imagine what an entirely naked female could do.

Goose, the statement that we are uneducated is just simply wrong in that he almost acts as if no one here goes to school or college. It is ridiculous to think that only rich people go to school here. Iwent to college for 2 years,almost all of which was paid for by government grants-grants I recieved while Bush Sr. was in office.The statement is just too general. He obviously hates everything about the U.S. (we are the devil you know) ,so I think the generalizing that goes on here is insane. Have any of you Europeans/Brits and everyone else ever lived here?
