I don't know if him attacking is true, but Iran is connected with the 9/11 terrorists in some way. I have yet to read up on it.
Mouse, you are far more intelligent than that!!

The only connection is that in Iran there are Muslims, & the hijackers were muslims!

In fact - the majority of the hijackers come from Saudi Arabia - a country that Bush has many ties to through oil & wealth.
Alright, I should have added to the post, "Iran is connected from what I have been reading" but I would assume that you know me better than that by now.

Plus, that may not be the only connection according to WHAT I HAVE BEEN READING (LOL). So far this is the latest.

The New York Times reported on Sunday that the Iranian government had ordered its border guards not to stamp the passports of Saudi al-Qaida members moving through Iran after training in Afghanistan.

An Iranian stamp could have made the al-Qaida members subject to additional scrutiny upon entering the United States, U.S. officials said.

Propaganda it may be or not. I am sure that we will hear all about it in the upcoming weeks. I am not saying what I buy into or not, just simply stating what I have read about it so far.
It is a pretty weak attack on Iran. Why didn't the US stamp their passports? I'm sure if they look hard enough, they can dig up something else to pitch into the US fear psyche & muster up enough support for an invasion.
Nobody is even saying that this information is an attack on Iran. Right now they are trying to figure out what happened. You are right, they slipped through our borders too, which is pretty obvious. Right now it is all about piecing the information together. Nobody has even mentioned an invasion, so don't start assuming just yet.
President Bush: "I have long had concerns over Iran"

Pretty clear what tact he is taking.

He has concerns over North Korea, Syria, and I am sure there are many other places on the list. I don't think anything is clear as of this point. You and I both can't see the future, so the only thing to do is wait and see. Then there is the possibility for a debate about it.

Has it ever crossed anyones mind that the most likely place to be nuked in the future is Irael by an Arab state and maybe this is why the US doesn't want Iran et al having or building these weapons?

something to think about before people say yeah the US is a bully it's got nukes but doesn;t want anyone else to have them.

I don't particularly like the way Israel goes about its business in the Middle East but the last thing I want is Syria, Iran or Libya nuking Jerusalem and if you don't allow them to have that capability then the chances of it happening are much lower.

What does having nuke ability have to do with having some terrorists pass through your country?

& there is something of a hypocrisy about not allowing a country to have weapons because they might use them & supplying them to a country that does use them (Albeit not nukes).

Again, this is a random change of topic. & nuking someone in as close a proximity as Israel wouldn't really be very clever.

I was just makign a passing comment Mike it's got nothing to do with the current climate apart from the fact both points involve Iran.

IMO even though it has the capability, Israel is much less likely to launch a nuke against another Arab state than they are to launch one at Israel should they get or already own the capability to do so hence why it's generally a good idea to keep these countries from developing the capability.

It's a double standard but life's full of them mate and politics even more so.

Doesn't mean you have to sit there & put up with it.
