Default and the axe draws nearer :-S

sp i went to see the head supervisor in my work last nite (the one that phoned me wanting to know where i was) and she said she's not after me, the boss is.

i start seeing a problem here cos she can't actually fire me, but the boss can and she reckons he's not too happy cos to him leavign earlys the equivelent of stealing money and time.

so ive to go and see him on thursday to find out my fate. the ironic thing is that he's the laziest cunt in the full shop and he's probably going to sack me for not earning my wage. seriously in the 6 months hes been here all i can remember him doing is putting bread on shelves a couple of times, taking some beer out at the last old firm game and hanging around reading papers tryign to pretend he's looking for shoplifters.

sa7ys alot about the man when i can pick out specific bits of work he's done u know.

ah well if i do get sacked at least i can let him know some home truths

I actually told a manager at work to **** off once or twice. The guy was a complete and utter moron. I even told my general manager what I had said...the other guy was fired!

But, Jim I hope everything goes ok with your meeting. Do you have like a 3 strikes rule at work? Do they actually have grounds to fire you?

yeah im supposed to get a verbal, the written warning then im out.

i got a verbal warning ages ago but it was a misunderstanding. i went oputside to chase away some younger guys that were drinking outside the shop cos if they get cuaght the shop and th egirl who served them gets fined. i came back in and the supervisor thought id been out talking to my friends and explaineed that was my verbal warning.

she realised afterwards that it was a mistake but i dunno if its been took off the record. thing is the new boss is a complete moron and i doubt he'll know the procedure. either way if he does sack me i'll take the weekend off for my birthday then remidn him on monday that being part of a large organisation he has certian procedures to follow and as a result of not following them he's got an unfair dismissal on his hands

That sounds like a plan. I would do the same thing if I were you. The Labour board/Human relations already has some complaints about the handling of the firing of the moron I mentioned above. Another one against my GM won't be too good! Not that I really care...I never like the GM to begin with

the point is everyoe knows this gaffer is a ****in inbred that does nothing and ive had people i work with actually bring stuff up to point out to him in the event that i do get fired.

i'm just thinking about how hard its goign to be to listen to this sloth lecture and possibly fire me for not workign when he basically makes his living from sitting watching his ass grow.

Your supervisor obviously got above his/her station then. BTW you student tax dodger, having uni work to do is not an excuse to shirk your responsibilities!
