I think he did cross the line with those remarks, but if he is narrow minded enough to be racist, then that's his problem. He ain't gonna make too many friends that way. I think the personal thing is different though, I have seen many people insult him, but when he does it it is taken too far.

I think someone said once that he should throw himself under a bus!

What I wanted to say is that *attacks* are ok (I mean, you attack people, you'd expect to be attacked back), but personal and racist insults are beyond that (but I think anyone woul agree on this, so what's this dicussion for?)

I probably forgot some people though...But when a thread came up that said something negative about Bon Jovi, we just had discussions about it that didn't end up in fights. We could be joking about the band without being bashed about the fact that we hated Bon Jovi too much. Later on, this board was redesigned or however you call it, and you needed to login. That whole redesign thing all happened when I was on holiday, so when I returned I didn't know what I saw. A lot of members came up with posts about nothing, and they did have the backstage level like "Which lipstick should I wear at a Bon Jovi concert ?" Later on, most of them disappeared, since the level of conversations was way too difficult for them, and they returned back to Backstage.

Though some of them stayed. And some new members came. From Backstage, or from anywhere else. Some made interesting points, others just opened the same topic like they did on Backstage, most of them weren't so usefull either. I'm not saying all backstagers are stupid, but most people agree that a lot of them talk any bad thing about Bon Jovi good. A good example is Donna_England, even when krb102 asked about the "shooting incident at Wembley" she said it wouldn't be a problem. I think that's something stupid to say. And it's a perfect example of which people we are fed up with.

Another good example is Choclady. She most of the time is giving replies with just an emoticon, and it isn't just me and Thierry noticing, but lots of other people have said something about it. Nearly in every thread you can find her, without saying a usefull thing. The last discussion I saw her in was the Iraq discussion, that's the only one who showed the intelligence of Choclady. For the rest it's mostly bull shit like "I agree, or "

I'm not saying those people should leave, but I get sick of every thread which is a discussion about something negative about Bon Jovi like their setlists, their 2 latest albums, their image from being a pop band, ending up in fights about the fact that we shouldn't be complaining about it because we should be glad "They still release albums" or "Thát they still tour"...I think that's bull shit.

Me, Krb102, Mike McRock, Thierry, Iceman, Thomas Anderson and Letitrock are the only ones who seriously discuss things about Bon Jovi. Others just reply posts with :

-Complaining about the fact that we are complaing.
-Just an emoticon, I mentioned Choclady, but she isn't the only one who's doing it...

There are people on this board though that don't say anything when they don't have anything to add. And I think that's the way things should be. Now the fact that krb102 is leaving is weak, it's always the easiest way to leave, but on the other hand, I understand his decision, because we all come here for fun, and as long as there is fun, I'll be around over here. Just like krb102 I think. And since every topic he's opening ends up as a fight between the stupid jon lovers and him, there's no fun left for him. And don't start the discussion about the stupid Jon lovers, since we all know what that means.

This board is made up of over 1000 registered members (ok not all still visit - but a lot of ppl r using this board at the moment). However everyone who visits this board is for a reason. Whether to look up on latest BJ happenings, file share, catch up on gossip with other BJ friends they have met or simply to enjoy a controversial argument.

The wide amount of ppl visiting means u can't have it your own way all the time. & there is still a fair share of controversies (like this one that krb has stirred up) - only lots more other stuff that the wide variety of BJ fans bring to the site. OK - So not everythings gonna please u, but then...it wasn't made entirely for u. Its a Message Board - a public arena.

If u have any real concerns, such as someone having a conversation over a post u have made, let us know or let the ppl who r doing it know (maybe they don't realise).

& concering Sambora_Lauras topic, that is hugely popular even if Krb102 doesn't like it.

& also personal bickering is something that isn't welcome at this board.

That said - hope the ppl who choose to stay (& don't forget u have a part to play in how the message board pans out) continue to enjoy it & one person throwing their toy out of the pram won't change my persceptions of it.
