Whose blood shed, America's or Saddam's? I find it quite interesting how Saddam's atrocities just fly over everyone's heads like it is not important.
Yes, but what about the blood shed in Zimbabwe. Or what about the Nigerian government, and the fact that (to use one example), a woman who was raped, and gotten pregnant from this act, was stoned to death, because it's elligual to get pregnant out of marrage? Where was America standing up for peoples rights there? What are America doing about the problems in Zimbabwe. What did America do about South Africa, where the regime there was just as bad as Saddam's (if you were back in any case). The thing is, there are countries all over the world who are suffereing under regimes that are stripping people of their human rights. Just look at China's history for instance. The communist revolution their, with things such as the Cultural revolution (I think it was called this), where they were burning liburarys, beeting people up who were in a better possision to them, sending people of to concentration camps....Saddam is not unique, he's not evil, any more than the leaders in other supressive regimes are.

i've never understood that... throughout 18th century they disliked each other because of the wars... then after napolean and the revolution of 1789 they disliked each other because of the new empire and liberal revolution etc... then they disliked each other after 1st world war because they couldn't satisfy each other diplomatically, then after 2nd world war because of collaboration...

nowadays all it seems to be is football...

i don't understand why people my age feel anti-french - and when you ask them none of them actually have much of a reason for being that way...

sad really

Dear, you contradict yourself constantly and talk in circles. You have no clear point except that there may or may not be WMD involved. And you think I don't know what I'm talking about? I think you fall into that American stereotype rather nicely yourself.
when did i ever say you didn't know what you were talking about?

I find it even more interesting how Mugabes atrcoities do the same.

It is my firm belief that Saddam with have no impact on the number of American lives lost apart from in engagement. & its funny how this is only about America - like they're the only country that matters.
