there was a great speach last night. It wasn't anything special (to my knowlege), and I can't even remember the context (other than the obvious). But I flicked over, and a woman said smething lke...

"Well, Saddam is supressing his people, so we're going to put them out of their miseries?" Bombing the people who's lives are being supressed does have a kind of twisted irony to it doesn't it!

Are you not implying by this remark that I am not only stupid, but ignorant as well? I like the permanent rolling eyes emoticon in your replies, as if to imply that you have one up on whoever you are replying to. But guess what? That doesn't make me think you are intelligent. Just the opposite, in fact.

too bad for me. I feel really depressed now
But why don't you prove me the opposite? Why don't you show that you really do know what happens in Zimbabwe?
And as for the rolling eyes: this can be interpreted however one wants it to. If you chose to interprete it this way, feel free to do so but don't try to tell me what i was implying.

I think u r assuming just becuase we disagree with u. For me, it is about a needless war, implications of heightened terrorism & thousands of innocent Iraqis losing their lives.

Disagree with me for what? I have never stated any opinion on the war one way or the other. You just assume that because I am American, I agree with it. You don't know me or what I think, so don't presume to think that I don't agree with what you or anyone else here says. I don't like your condescending attitudes toward Americans, and the way you all think that what you believe is the only right thing. That is why I post these things, to prove that everyone doesn't think like you do, and that other countries have their own major faults. Do you even realize that you are guilty of what you accuse us of? (you in general, not you in particular, btw)

That it does, Goose. But not necessarily the American public as it is implied.

And against the EU, too. Chirac is such a hypocrite that he believes he can publicly intimidate European countries into doing what he wants them to do for admittance to the EU, but goes on his own way inviting Mugabe to France against the European Union. He does seem to have sympathy for tyrants, doesn't he? The outdated ideas of France and Germany are not the future of Europe. They shouldn't be the ones leading the EU, anyway. They will suffocate the growth of Europe as a whole, not just their individual countries...
