Well, then it's up to you to promote St Andrews day then.... obviously the Irish have done something right!

I just want cheap whisky.

I just find it kinda ironic how we celebrate an irish holiday more than we celebrate our own.

It's called marketing and the fact that the largest percentage of Irish or people of Irish descent live in USA and there it is a massive holiday

It really isn't too big of a holiday over here... I guess it depends on what part of the country you live in. And it's mosty about getting drunk... we took a quiz in school today, and only 3 of us could say what St. Patrick did... one kid said he was the creator of beer

Default Saints Days !

I am ENGLISH ! and proud of it , I live in a town that has a big irish community and today the whole town has turned green , lots of drunk lepricorns all over the place . Yet on St Georges Day , there's nothing , if all the proud English folk went out in to the streets we'd be told we were being racist , or drink football thugs !

I think we should celebrate everything if we want !

The best part? Green ****in' beer. Totally awesome. Actually, I've been having a bad day but now I'm thinking maybe I should just get drunk.

Ahhhh Green Beer ! when i was a poor student i worked in a Irish night club and i poured so many green beers & shamrock Guinesses on St Pats Day . Unreal why they think it is cool to drink something green you wouldn't normally .

I have too say i cooked Steak & Guiness stew tonight for dinner .

Well if you do decide to go out and have a few Green Beers , have fun !
