i smell conspiracy theory

but i agree with you... i suppose we'll all just have to wait and see what happens - because our opinions don't count for anything it would seem, even if the majority want peace

I saw it about 3 weeks ago when I went back to England. It was the one about how each important person in the US government wanting war is/was connected to an oil company in one way or another.

That's America, not the UK. The most any student as to pay is just over £1000 if the rules haven't been changed in the past few years. And that is only if the parents income is above a certain amount.

Trust me KRB schools like Charterhouse and St Pauls, Rugby, Eton (ie upper class British toff schools) cost more than £1000....

i'm talking about before they came to university - now it's about a grand a term, so roughly £10,000 - but it looks like mine will end up having to go to £21,000 because our labour government doesn't have a strand of socialist ideology anymore

Are some of you guys anti-war or anti-bush? It sounds to me like your making Saddam a martyr! If G.W was the war pig some of you believe he is wouldn't he have started dropping bombs already? There are 2 sides to this argument, and for mine if Saddam starts telling the truth and co-operating with the UN then this whole thing will end peacefully. In my view he has a greater role to play in a peaceful outcome than G.W and his Allies.

If it wasn't for Blair - Bush would have already started dropping bombs. I think the point is we're anti-war, but since Bush's first option was a War before Blair persauded him to go thru the motions with the UN - which is what he's doing then we r becoming Anti-Bush.

Esp. Considering the new line is it will be a humanitarian War (We'll be attacking half the world after this).

There will Always be an excuse for this war.

Mike

I understand where your coming from Mike. I'm just a little annoyed that Saddam is getting off very lightly, and that most of the footage I've seen of the protests around the world are targetting Bush. This is the same man that had to bury a few thousand of his country man in Sept 2001. I don't blame him for being a little trigger happy.
