why not substitute tickets for drugs- no difference!!!!!
If you want to sell tickets above face value, then you are breaking the law in Scotland. Ticket Touting is an offence under the Civic Government (Scotland ) Act 1982 and is also an offence under Common Law.
In addition persons who engage in ticket touting are subject to other existing criminal law relating to activities such as theft, deception, obstruction or threatening behaviour.
However it is not an offence anywhere else in the UK. My job is Scottish law enforcement, so I am trying to save you from getting into trouble.
Do what you will, it's your choice, your life- if you get stung by selling on the internet and receiving payment by stolen credit card, fraud involving stolen cheques or counterfeit cash, you will have no recourse to the law, as you would have knowingly been taking part in an illegal offense in the first place.
