Agreed - but can we not bring up Jesse anymore? I'm in Minnesota and we're all trying really hard to forget that happened.

I don't have a BIG personal goal just now . . . I have BIG regret. I have the great husband, great baby, fantastic house, and I had the great career (gave it up for the hubby & baby) . . . but I never truly applied myself to any one thing. I'm pretty good at a lot of things (music, sports, writing), but I find myself wondering just how good I could've been, or how far I could've gone, if I really gave my all to any of those things.

If there's something you're passionate about, don't hold back. Give it everything you've got so you aren't left lost & wondering later. At least you'll have the satisfacion of knowing you went as far as you could.

before i got ill and had to give it up i wanted to become the scottish heavy middleweight amatuer boxing champion and think i'd have had a good crack at making it given time to train etc...

apart from that i;ve achieved alot of the ambitions i set out to achieve in life already or i'm pretty close to doing so.

the only thing i can think of that'll need some proper work is travelling across the world and climbing mt kilimanjaro but there's plenty of time for that.

the only dream/goal i had was a designer.... graphic or interior....

On a more serious note, good on ya Ryan, if you want to do it badly enough, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Go for it!

this goes for if they are superrich and have everything in the world, you could at least iron out the creases

or

if you take it another way and you dad left home and your mums living in a council flat under eviction with 3 kids. you could further yourself again

i suppose by this principle people/parents can never see you as a failure. which is a nice thing i suppose
