I had to do a presentation on my favourite scientist! It was only 3 minutes, and was designed to show you could actually get up and speak in front of people! We also had a couple of written tasks to do, correcting grammar etc. It was fairly stress-free if I'm honest.

the getting up in front of people and speaking isn't a problem for me at all but i think the biggest defining factor about getting into this course or not is how you present it and how well you do in your individual interview.

there's going to be a wad of people doing powerpoint presentations of world war 2 then i'm going to come up with all my photos and bits and pieces to do with the berlin wall so hopefully that'll make me stand out.

what did you wear too. i'm thinking suit shirt and tie but dunno if that's a bit "too" dressy. i suppose i probably will be a bit older than most of them there :'-(

Go for the suit. You'll be surprised how many people older than you will be on your course, theres such a breadth of experience on mine. Good luck!

What do you teach??

I am a teacher for primary school. In Belgium that means I teach kids from 6 till 12 years old.
I graduated 2 years ago and still remember all the stress (and hard (paper)work) for all those placements..... Good luck with it all!!!
