Default anyone ever feel like just packing up and leaving?

I dunno why but all of a sudden I've got this great urge just to stick clothes in a suitcase, fly somewhere and see the world until I don't really have any option other than coming home.

I dunno why either. life's pretty cushy.

I've almost graduated. (after half a decades and 3 different degrees)

i got really ill earlier in the year but at least i'm here to complain (which i very well may not have been)

my part time job is kind of shit just now but it swings like this all the time and im sure i could find another pub to employ a bar monkey for minimum wage

im seeing this new girl and things are going great and it's the happiest ive been with a girl for a long time.

i really do have nothing to moan or any reason to disappear but i just feel kinda restless to the point where I kind of don't want to succeed in my postgraduate application so I can head to south korea for a year

anyone else ever just get restless for no real reason?

... on a daily basis

If only I could just leave the country right now! I am sorta enjoying what I'm doing at the moment, but there's so many things I'd just love to run away from.

So yeah - I know how you feel. Unfortunately packing a suitcase & just fly away ain't really a possibility ...

I definitely get that feeling, even when things are going well. I get bored with the same old routine and sometimes want things to be different. Sometimes I just get tired of people, even the ones I love, and want to get away from them.

I always had that feeling and dude just go for it. When I was 17 I went to Australia, just had an open-ticket, a suitcase & a bit of money. All was decided in one week and the week after I went. Eventually spent 7 months there.
When I was 23 and graduated and did the same only went to Africa, got the idea and went 2/3 weeks later, ended up for almost a year there back then...
Always wanted to go back and from next month on I will live there...

I don't have that feeling at the moment, perhaps because I'm truly happy and content with my life at the moment. In the past I've felt like that, and I've always just packed up (or not) and moved on. I've lived in 4 different cities in the last 2+ years, in two different countries (I know that's not a lot by some other peoples' counts) but because of that I really appreciate right now that I have a place I can call home.

If/when the feeling hits again, I'm sure we'll just move on.

You can't run forever, your true self will ALWAYS catch up with you sooner or later.

If I had the funds, then yes. But it's always fun coming home.
