Default anyone use worldpay? (switch/maestro customers included...)

I bought something with my switch card about 2 weeks ago from a music distributor in Bristoal that used worldpay as it's payment service.

anyways he posts the thing special delivery and it's here in a day. Only problem, it isn't working. i email him and he says fine send it back n he'll send a new one which I do a few days later. It's been a week and a half just about since I sent it back and nothing, Not even any replies to polite emails asking whats happening which is setting off major alarm bells considering he replied within hours the couple of times I'd emailed him before the transaction.

I know the royal mail delivered the thing last week and I don't want to jump the gun but if he can ship somethign to me in a day then not respond or send anything out for over a week, I'm inclined to think he's trying to bump me for my money. He shut his business down last week too, this was pretty much a last minute sale thing I picked up on.

Anyone know if there's any way I can claim my money back through worldpay or switch?

i know this is kinda rambling but i know he's not ill or unable to be online because ive saw the guy posting some personal gear up for sale on another board the other night so if it's not in by tomorrow I'm going to get my bro to email him an offer for something, try to get his number as a result then call him out on it. I'd just like to get it resolved as easilly as possible before my holiday.

k worldpay site says:

WorldPay do not hold information about your order, and we are not authorised to provide refunds - we are responsible only for processing payments.

Please contact the Store from which you made the purchase for queries about:

duplicate payments/refunds.
the goods/services you have ordered (quality/quantity)
delivery/cancellations/tax receipts
Remember to include your transaction confirmation email with your query.

the good people at switch or this cunt deciding to cease being a cunt for the forseeable future it is then.

switch aren't a company; it's just a standardised way of performing transactions nationwide and worldwide.

the only person you can recover the debt from is the company you dealt with. worldpay are just a holding company and, like you already know, hold no liability for goods which don't arrive.
