That's what i do. I have a cable provider and i also have AOL using the BYOA Plan. It's 15 bucks a month (Canadian) for me.
To change the plan just go to Keyword Billing and you can change the plan. And it's easy to setup the connection on the starting up part, you'd just choose ISP/LAN connection.

again,i don't know if this is what he's talking about but it's the first thing i thought of.But if AOL is your only provider then i guess it doesn't work anyway. lol.
