According to the Mayans, in 2012 on December 21st, we'll all be dead.
I have more faith in that than that guy! The Mayans have been correct about many things, but it could all just be coincidence.

Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) will be epidemic by 2036 and it is spread by eating the meat of animals infected with related diseases such as BSE (bovine spongiform encephalopathy, better known as Mad Cow Disease). CJD is a horrible and fatal brain-deteriorating disease for which there is no treatment or cure, presently believed to be caused by a prion (an abnormal isoform of a host-encoded protein, with no RNA or DNA). Mr. Titor expressed astonishment that people are so careless about the food they routinely ingest; apparently CJD has a latent period of 10 to 30 years, which means (if Mr. Titor was not a fraud) that many people are probably unwittingly contracting the disease today who will become victims of the CJD epidemic. We're ignorant meat eaters.

Thats weird cause a micro biolagist i worked with at collage stated this was the single biggest freat to humanitys future and we should be really concerned.

The multiple-worlds theory is true, and there somehow exists an infinity of universes where somewhere each choice possible gets actualized, as new "worldlines" constantly spin off from one another. Similar wordlines may be thought of as alternate realities in which details may vary slightly if one is not too far from another, but some worldlines may diverge drastically apart. Apparently as Mr. Titor's time machine operates it navigates through these alternate realities, and time travelers try to stay as close to possible to their original worldline, the success of their efforts being measured in percent divergence from their original worldline. We are just a few percent divergence away from Mr. Titor's original worldline, he says. According to Mr. Titor, while he believes we are headed for and will experience the same major disasters he knows from his history, we still have the power to alter our reality as we choose: we do have free will. Because there are an infinity of universes where all different choices are played out anyway, it therefore wouldn't harm anything if we did take steps to intelligently modify our future, and that is also why Mr. Titor felt he could do no harm by slightly modifying this reality by revealing himself here. He mentioned some small divergences he's noticed, such as books not written and sports events won by other teams, which he says is normal for divergence of a few percent, and that some divergence is inevitable (he can never return to the exact same worldline he left in 2036, but he can come very close).

Just think that means a infinite justin timberlake could it really hurt to kill one? :P

Microsingularities (mini black holes) will be created soon at a particle collider, and physicists will eventually learn how to build time machines using two of them at a time. It is already expected by some physicists that particle energies will be high enough to create microsingularities at CERN's Large Hadron Collider when it begins operation in 2007, but Mr. Titor did not say exactly where and when they would be discovered. The Titor-specific part of this prediction is that microsingularities can and will be used to build time-travel machines.

He got something right that we can sorta prove then. Lets wait till 2004 for war

Well to what he claims this world is a few percent divergence to his own. So he could be 3 years out if what he says it true.

i checked out some of the sites he had on the one i posted and from it with no prior knowledge of physics or anything at all i get the jest of how he says we can travel in time.

now to me that sounds like some geek science student (lets face it girls and boys they aint the sociable type) with way too many hours going through websites getting all his phsyics theories and blah blah blah.

either way suppose i should buy a gun for the commies attack

Well, I don't have to worry much about the disease contracted by eating meat...I wonder though how, if this is such a big deal, there's been no such epidemic in the past 3 million years of human existence. Surely a larger percentage of the population relied more on meat back a few hundred thousand years ago than we do now.

As for the multiple universe theory...I can't disprove it, but I think its bologna. Think about turning a corner on a street in your car. There's a nearly infinite number of possibilities for different ways just for turning the corner. There's various speeds, angles, and combinations of the two, plus factors I'm probably missing. Now if each choice spins off another universe, those universes are all going to spin off infinite other universes depending on the choices made in the new universes. Now this happens with ever person who has ever lived, is living, or will ever live?! This is just a little too hard for me to believe.

Does anyone know of the name of that physic that predicted a lot of the major events a few decades/centuries ago? The only major one I can remember right now is the prediction of King Tut's tomb. There is sometimes mulitple TV shows mentioning him, but I can't remember his name.. They mentioned that he said some things about the future, but I don't remember what they were, and they also said that his predictions were made into books!

That's just like chaos theory though...every little thing we do can have a catastrophic event in the future.

For example, what if one day you noticed your shoe was untied, so you spent 20 second tying it, making you 20 seconds later at everything you do that day, and then when you are crossing the road later in the day you get hit by a car and killed....just because you where 20 seconds delayed.

Has anyone ever seen the movie Sliding Doors? That's a good example of this, but in a very basic way.

A butterfly beats it wings in south america and tokyo gets a tsunami.

That would be Nostradamus. He predicted many things, including Hitler, who he called something like Hilter...and I think he even predictd 9/11 too, although I'm not sure.

He is a probably case of a person from the past meeting a time traveller.

He called him Hister. Nostradamus I also don't believe, they give you the predictions after something happens, very convenient to predict something that has already happened..
