I am skeptic about what he has apparently said, but there is a lot of things that could possibly happen. It could be just a bunch of people have done a lot of researching and filtering through events and have used this story to provoke a reaction from people as some experiment about what would happen if people believe that a person from the future was in the present. That sounds pretty stupid, but its just part of my brain trying to work out some of the details.

This case would not be the first bunch of farmers to do so. In ancient Greece, a army of farmers from a destroyed city of Thebes, smashed the Spartans and marched right in and set a city near Sparta called Megapolis. The army was lead by Epaminondas? Anyway, the army was made up of common people because they could no longer go about their ordinary lives because Athenians and Spartans kept marching through their territory and burning homes, I think. So the army rose up under the general and marched into Sparta after Epaminondas defeated them in a one off battle because the phalanx, formation of troops, that they used was so deep and it broke the Spartan lines. After that the Spartan were hesitant about going head-to-head with them again. After the war, most of the army was disbanded and just went home.

This is one example of the common people making a formidable force, and "John" says this will happen. If what he says isn't true, well he has done his homework.

lets face it back in the day a large amount of farmers could very well fight and win against an army cos theyd all be fighting with roughly the same weapons. skip forward a few thousand years and we can destroy entire cities with 1 bomb and make missile turn at traffic lights.

i cant imagine an army of guys with pitchforks and shotguns being able to put up much resistance to countries willing and able to nuke whole cities do u?

During the civil was the goverment is winning...easily. But that isnt how the goverment is wiped out its wiped out by nukes sent nicely from russia which target all cities hence the rural fowks survive and no more goverment. Was looking about the net and found this-
