When you've been posting here longer and you're longer around then most members, you're more able to say certain things then others. That's just true. Plus that when people think like "he's got a good point" and they start looking at older posts from you they might consider you as a good debater, and therefor you get more credibilty.

Anyway, if someone wants to keep his/her amount of total posts so much he/she'd better donate money to Peter for building up a new server, though I don't think anyone would be that pathetic...If you want to spend money just to keep your amount of posts you're a bit pathetic...

I've never checked anyone's old posts to see their level of credibility. Just because they were right in the past doesn't mean they have to be always right. I go by what I'm reading at the moment.

And people see things in different ways, you may see this board as a way to talk about Bon Jovi and catch up on new things, etc. Others may view it as a way of meeting people they'd never know in the normal lives. Others may regard it as a way to spend a boring afternoon. You never know. You can't judge people by their amount of posts of what they said months ago.

What will you do now when there are no old posts to check? How will you find out about people's credibility?
