5am??!! Thats awful its almost the middle of the night. Thank goodness for weekends
Yes, waking up when it is dark out is not a nice way to start the day.
I know what you mean Mouse. I used to have a job where I had to start at 7 am!! That was hell!! My alarm used to start going off at 4:30, nearly killed me, I was going to bed at 9:30 after a while.. I had no life! Thank God I didn't stay there too long!

Erk..4:30 is just pushing it. I even cut my hair shorter today so I could sleep later in the morning. That is sad. Hehehe

OMG Is it cause your commute is so long Mouse?
I get up early during the week because of work and kids but on the weekend.......... let's just say that Friday night I get to stay up as late as I like and then sleep in on Saturday. Ditto Saturday night and Sunday. As far as I'm concerned my ideal working hours would be 12noon until 8pm. I could sleep late enough that way - and there is plenty of the night left at 8 pm.
Sigh - why does all business start so early on the morning? I'm a night person.

No, that's just smart and very practical!! My hair is short too.. just so I can get up and have a shower without having to wash my hair and look in the mirror and think.. it'll do!!
4:30 was pushing it... so glad I don't do that anymore!!

Right now my commute is just 10 minutes. But I have to be there by 7:30 or so, and I like to eat breakfast and have my coffee in the morning.

When I move my commute will be about an hour. I will have to work something out for myself.

I am hyper all the time, when i first wake up i'm a little groggy but something normally makes me laugh within the first five minutes of my day and then thats it for the rest, i'm on fire!!!!!

I know people are told they should sleep for 8 hours but if i do that i am more tired in the mornings, i can sleep about 4/5 hours and feel better for it, i sometimes catnap when i come in from work.

All humans have a "sleep window" its when your body wnats to shut down and everyones sleep window and duration of this window is different. If you miss this window you are not meant to sleep after it cos it really messes you up.

If you sit up all night you will probably get tired about 3-4am and it will get worse and worse, then all of a sudden you fell wide awake again, thats your sleep window

I'm a night person all the way. I have a Garfield mug with the quote "I think I'm allergic to mornings" So very true. I scheduled all my classes this year so that they don't start before 10 am

Well since I work nights...I'd say I'm a night person! I used to work days, and had to be up at 5am...hated it....so much so that when I was offered the night shift I jumped at it. Been doing it for 8 years now, and wouldn't have it any other way! I love coming home from work at 6.30am, pouring a glass of wine, then opening the door to the postman.....he must think I'm an alcho!
