people always call me "Jesus" when they can't think of anything original to label me... but i look nothing like him

portrayals of Jesus and God make them look more like American aging rock stars than they do eternal men of wisdom

The talks about good and evil made me smile. Most of these institutions and organizations mean good, but it's the people who see their ideologies in a wrong way. Religion has been a terrific excuse for conquerors, wars in general and everything else. It is however also opium for the people, do doubt. But is that such a bad thing?

Human mind cannot handle so many big questions, so that is why for example I get comfort in God. Though I am in no way religious person. But the important matters are something that everyone should think about if only sometimes. Why is there anything? How did the world got "started". Why so many people only think of their own interests. Why everything eventually ends (life, death). Why there is such a vast diversity in our universum. Jesus brough many great, great teachings that are even nowadays he basis of western cicilization along with the Rome's legacy. That is something to really remember. Love, forgiveness, caring, undestanding and accepting different things, thoughts and cultures.

And besides, Jesus really did NOT want to base a new religion. He knew the dangers involved. It was the ideology he wanted to chare.

Love,

I personally say that everyone believes in the same God, it's just that some people call him God and others Allah or whatever. Even the Bible, Thora and the Koran have the same background. There are a lot of paralell things in them.
Good point. There are a lot of spin-off religeons out there.
