Its been around for years now , you are suppose to say happy holidays, that way it doesnt offend anyone.

Heres my answer if you feel offended by xmas then move to a country that doesnt celebrate it !

On last nights news ,all UK schools and hospitals are now suppose to provide halal (religious cut meat). Id like to think that the people with religious beliefs that effect their food would pay extra for the UK providing this food to them, but I doubt that will happen!

In a perfect world where we all have what we want and need then yeah great give everyone what they desire.

Problem is this isnt a perfect world. We dont have tons of money, we are a small country. Look at the nhs and the schools, cant provide enough beds or books ,but we are now catering for religious food beliefs.

Muslims are already catered for under the veggie food in hospital, or there is nothing wrong with their family bringing in food for them, they do this anyway. THese families usually consisting of at least 7 of them cook in great big vats its no problem to bring in food for relatives. Who is going to pay for all extra halal food ?

Do you really think if we went to pakistan that we could have the option of non halal meat in any hospital, or what about christian beliefs in other countries, we are not offered the same in those countries, that we offer here. Muslims would be up in arms if they had to pay out of their pockets for our english christian religious beliefs.

have to agree with dawn here if i'd to go to a Muslim country and start moaning about them celebrating ramadan because it offended me at the very least no one would give a shit and at woprst i'd end up in jail.
