plato's state failed for the most part because the whople foundations of it were based upon an idea that alot of people either didn't get or thought was total bullshit and alot of people still do think his theory on philosophers being Kings is total shite.

the fact that it pretty much reads: i'm smart and i say this, if u get it then u r smart, if u don't get it or disagree then u must be stupid is a big reason y i think Plato's theologies r pointless.

yeah but it was brought up and u can't talk about aristotle without at least talking a bit about plato.
