Coming from a family who owns and makes a very well known beer in Sydney, I SHOULD say Beer, but I can't stand the stuff. So i'll hafta go with spirits.

spirits

even though they do often smell like turps or nail varnish remover...

beer - like a nice chilled beer... not a fan of drinking it for the hell of it as many people are

spirits even in large doses don't seem to effect me so much - for me i don't typically get hangovers i just tend to feel ill through lack of sleep etc
