quite possibly some of the only cool modern art i've seen in europe was this dudes display in the pergamon museum. he had all sorts of metal structures that the light reflected off of differently.



the train station down the road from checkpoint charlie and right next to the restuarant i had these....




yes that are snails and if you look carefully at the top of the plate you can see the long pronged fork you use to pry them out of the shells yummy

james bond was staying across the hall from me



me looking sharp before a night on the town. the sharpness quickly deteriorated as the beers and jaeger started flowing.

a really shoddy pictures of the crowd at silvester. my sister has better ones but imagine this times about 10,000 (literally) and you've just about got the scale of the party at the brandenburg gate. amazing.



the wannsee conference house where hitler and co came up with the "final solution" over brandy and cigars during the war.

my sisters got more (and better shall we say) pictures but she's too depressed at being back here to put them online just now but once she does i'll put them up too.
