They aren't. Come on, you don't really think someone earns $3 billion dollars in a day? His estimated wealth is around $60 billion. ANd the numbers I gave aren't all he's done, just a part.
Well, given that msft makes some 6billion dollars every single day and he owns the majority of shares, I'd say there is a good chance he makes 3 billion a day -- not counting his personal investments

Fact is that given his riches he doesn't spend nearly enough on charity, imo.
How much would be enough? Gates can never win, if he doesn't give to charity people blame him, if he gives money, people say he doesn't give enough. He doesn't _have_ to do anything.
you are not entirely correct that he doesn't HAVE TO do anything. If he didn't, he and microsoft would not be as popular/liked/appreciated/well perceived in the community as they are otherwise.

Also, I remember a time when the public put tremendous pressure on him to START donating some of his money as he avoided the issue for the longest time.
It was just that he didn't make it in public. People are always finding rich people to blame.
to blame? what am i blaming him for?? I am merely pointing out that in my opinion he could do A LOT more than he is currently doing.

What would be interesting to see is how much taxes he actually pays --- bet you, not much - given his wealth (if any at all).
Actually, he's very strict about doing it by the book. He pays his taxes alright.
and you know that how? Doing things by the book, does not mean you automatically pay taxes. The very very rich are able to exhaust the (tax law) books for their personal gain - just the way it is (legal and all), while the not so rich, aren't able to set up trust funds, shift money, and hire tons of consultants to decrease their taxes. I am not saying it is wrong - it is what it is.

so, by questioning things, I come off as a negative person? So be it.

Want something positive? He has made a ton of people (namely most employees that were around in the late eighties and early nineties) EXTREMELY rich - indirectly contributing to the wealth in the Seattle area - people were able to retire at age 30 - how cool is that. Charitable contributions are a tremendous focus in his company, which means that for who knows how many years, Microsoft employees have been the largest donors in the country. Tons of people have benefitted and still benefit of his vision and generosity - all good things in my book. I am not trashing Gates (really), but I still think he could do more.

Maybe an american billion, lol

Logically if he earned $3billion a day and gave half away he'd still earn almost $550billion A YEAR which isn't right, he is probably worth about 10% of that now after years of earning.

IE is Microsoft's product, Microsoft is Gates' company. IE wrecked all the web standards, spreads viruses, helps spammers, etc. Basically IE made a mockery of what WWW was supposed to be. So many people hate Gates for that. Plus the fact that Microsoft is too big for it's own good. People don't like monopolies, etc. There's millions of reasons, but Windows and IE are the main reasons he's so hated. I'm sure you'll find a lot more using Google.

But why to call anti christ??. Hating one thing, but calling anti christ of that is doesn't make sense to me.

At least Donald Trump can say about Bill Gates "That guy has a hair cut, almost as cool as mine."
