well put it this way. it's much more off putting than. i just like being friends, i have a boyfriend or i dont want a boyfriend just now.

when things are put as bluntly as you have no chance whatsoever then people move on alot easier than if they think there's an inkling of hope.

My one and only blind date came about as a favor to one of my co-workers. He said his brother had been out of the dating scene for awhile, and was interested in meeting a "nice girl." I really liked and respected my co-worker, so I said yes. What he failed to tell me was his brother had been out of the dating scene because he had just been released from prison for attempted murder! I should have suspected something was amiss when upon meeting him he had a hundred tatoos from head to toe.

ah well it would appear my suspicion was not unfounded. They told my best mate they're tryign to set me up with a girl they know I really dson't like (my sides are splitting)

anyways my good friend let me into this but reckons we need to do somethign to turn it on them so any ideas? I don't want the poor lassie involved because I can kinda tolerate her now and she's got nothing to do with it anyways.

ideas?

ps anyone think that's a kinda shitty thing to do to someone that's having their 1st single christmas in about 5 years?
