Actally I am Type A+ as well . I give blood 4 times a year and very dedicated to doing so . I started giving 5 years ago when a freind of mine needed blood recieved it and lived after an accident . To me its very important so I give when I can .

I GIVE BLOOD AS OFTEN AS I CAN, I CAN'T ALWAYS GIVE IT BECAUSE I HAVE LOW BLOOD PRESSURE. BUT I AM AN A+.

BY THE WAY MY CAPS LOCK KEY IS BROKEN.

Every one scare about needles in first time. But once u give it then it would be not much diffculty to give again. I know few people (include my sister) whos goes to give blood, but end up taking some coz my sister always used to faint seeing the blood.

I think everyone should be aware of their blood group, and should also know person of their own blood group . Coz u never know when u need it.

Until u try it that scare never going to go. So why don't u give a try, go with ur best friend for moral support and what u know it never going to as tough as u think. And at the end of the day u gonna be vey proud man for helping to save someones life.

lol...i have never actually tried to actually donate blood, and i am only speaking from times when i have been in hospital or at the doctors that I have been made to take blood for medical reasons and nowadays I have to tell them / warn them that I always faint and i always do.

This is only a sample of blood as well...there is no way I could manage a full pint of blood.

There is always a way, u should tell ur problems to doctor and they will help u out. usually not thinking about blood or donation while giving blood will help u be strong.

sorry Allwyn, im really gonna have to pass on this one....im twenty years old now and its always happened to me, so i dont think there is a way to stop me fainting now...i will probably always have it.

One person who also gave blood with me is just turn 18 a month back. He was really nervouse and had little headache after giving blood. But now he is very happy and very proud man. Giving blood is something out of this world. Which meant lot to lot of people.

its about a pint and a half actually i think

u can make ur body do anything once u get your mind round it. my bro absolutely hates needles but when he got pulled for drink driving it was either a case of taking a urine sample right then which would have had him over the limit or taking a blood sample which would take about an hour for the doctor to get there and give him a chance to pass.

he took the blood test and landed right on the limit.
