Shame too, because it seems that people almost caught the guy who left the bomb on the bus but he got away.

Doesn't look like an Al-Qaeda attack. The scale is just too small. Don't know much about the IRA, but I kinda doubt it's them as well. I was thinking more of people who are just trying to copy the last attacks for whatever reason

as far as it goes, there has been flags raised about the real ira (the mob that carried out the Omagh bombing) in the past year with regards to possible mainland Britain attacks with Manchester, Birmingham and London being the expected targets, London being the most. They've had a heightened level of alert and recon put ont hem as a result but since M15 and the SB tend to know pretty much most members with any clout in these organisations it's fair to assume that they'd at least know somethign was being planned even if not the specifics, plus again, no warning.

After the provo's bombed a rememberance day gathering at Eniskillen in the 80s which ended up with a massive public backlash and lost them a whole lot of support from both ordinary sympathisers and their own ranks, they've been more wary of it. Since the Real IRA are an off shoot of the provos they do tend to make a point of not rockign the boat too much especially after their warning sent everyone towards the bombs in Omagh as opposed to away from them.

so.........

Although I have no respect for them whatsoever, if it was them I'm fairly sure there would be a warning and I dunno how into the idea of capitalising on an al qaeda attack they'd be.

but you never know. i'm not ruling anything out but in my mind, it's not al qaeda from what we know so far.

It's been said that the bombs might have failed, but all 4? That would be
weird. What's also strange is the time of the bombings; not during rush hour.

eye witnesses are saying it was Arab youths they saw running off the trains so if all 4 ****ed up it's most like 4 idiots getting info on the internet on how to make bombs just to i dunno, make a point or instill some fear or something. the fact they didn't stick around again points away from al qaeda. why take a step back from suicide bombings? the most worrying part about 2 weeks ago was that it was British citizens that were prepared to go all the way, not that there were bombs going off.

That they were British citizens doesn't really surprise me to be honest.
We've seen the same thing happen in the Netherlands with Arab youth
engaging in terroristic activities.
