And to make it worse, it was a cop that caused her to die. I'm now rooting for St. Louis to win.

Ermmm..can we say pitching?? For the Yankees, that wasn't the best this year at all. Well, there is always next year. I have to admit that it is fun to be hated just because they win all of the time. How many World Series have the won?? Hehehe...losing to Boston won't change history.

As for the Yankee fans crying, who cares?? At least they don't riot unlike some cities. :P

Amen to that. I was in Times Square in 96 watching the big screen when the Yankees won the series for the first time since the late seventies. The entire city went nuts but there was no rioting and no violence just a lot of spontaneous block parties

I was watching that episode of the Simpson's where Mr. Burns hits Bart and Bart goes to Hell. The Devil checks his computer and tells him "You're not due back here until the Yankees win the pennet...that's not for anything 80 years." I just thought it was kind of ironic.

But you have to give the Yankees some credit for their success. Big payrolls do not necessarily mean big results. I mean, for crying out loud, the Toronto Maple Leafs are one of the richest NHL teams and we haven't seen Lord Stanley's Cup since 1967 Actually, that's not true...it is housed year round at the Hockey Hall of Fame in TO, but we haven't won it.

Anyway, I still say GO BOSTON GO!!!!
