I guess the police lined up and down the field in game 6 wasn't due to the bad behavior of Yankees fans, huh? The real fact is that the Yankees are probably the most despised team in baseball. And no, it's not because they have won so many times...it's because the Boss is ruining baseball with his neverending quest to buy up all the best players in every attempt to buy New York more rings. The highest payroll every year...this year what, around 200 million??? And no WS ring in 4 years now. George must be about ready to slit his wrists.

You know why he has so much money to invest? Because he is one of the few owners to actually put so much back into the team that they earn, instead of pocketing it. You can't fault him for being a good businessman. As for Game 6, my friend was there and there wasn't a riot, unlike most cities in the US which can't handle winning or losing for that matter. :P

What are you telling here? They both are single entities, one team and one band. Apart from "Bon Jovi rock" sounding awful, it rather sounds like a request and not what it is intended to sound like.

"bon jovi rock" doesnt sound bad.......but "boston win" doesnt make sense at all

been going for boston ever since the playoffs started........since the royals sucked this year

I said it sounds like a request! "Bon Jovi rock" sounds like "Bon Jovi, please rock!" as in "They should go more rock again!"

I don't need lessons about singular and plural. I do see your point. I just think that it is not THAT wrong to say "(the band) Bon Jovi rocks" or "(the team) Boston wins".
