Well, that tells a lot about you and your friends. I'm glad not everyone is like you. You've got a lot to learn about the world and how it works. I suggest you take a trip to the real world sometime.
completely agree with Ice here. as i wrote above: as long as there are people like you (=jovi2003), which have only bad images about other nations or cultures, the world will never be a better place. plus you take this ways to serious, cause writing down a bush quotation isn't "bashing the US" at all.

ehm, feel free to say as many quotes from leaders of my country as you like (if you know any)! or feel free to tell jokes with the leaders of my country! i won't be pissed off, in contrary i will have a good laugh if the jokes are good. maybe you should know that there are already so many political satire programs in tv that we're really used to laugh about our own leaders. that's just called humor. if they say something funny, why should i not laugh about it? the big difference is that we can take the jokes while you can't take them. hey, it's only jokes!!

Don't forget Saturday Night Live too!!! They are always poking fun at Bush and every other politician in the US!

I think Americans are stupid. So do my friends. I don't look for friends who think Americans are stupid, it just turns out that way. We think Americans are stupid because we have been there and met many.

Do Americans think Europeans are stupid because they have been there and met many? Or is it a 'since you called me a name I called you a bigger name' kind of thing? I wonder.

If you want to see how British really think about Americans, watch Trainspotting.

That reminds me. I was about to go in to the Sistine Chapel to see Michelangelo's painting on the ceiling. It was very busy and there was an American man a few people in front of me. A few people behind me there was an American woman. All of a sudden the woman shouts out:

"Don't go in without me honey. I want us to share this experience together."

I wanted to kick her.

This will go back and forth forever. Let's move along now.

To make it easier on yourself. If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. You're not gonna find Bush-lovers on this board, and with most of us from Europe, your anti-Europe attitude won't help either.
Now this made me laugh. All Americans do on this board is take the heat. If you think this is a "rough" topic...well, ok. Maybe to you, it is. Anti-American attitudes are acceptable here because this is a "European" board, but anti-European attitudes are not. How hypocritical. And how European.

ROTFL. Ice, a majority of this country feels this way. Not only me and my "friends." Recent polls suggest that Americans would be against us going in and cleaning up the messes made by Europe in the future. The west is divided now as never before. Where we will continue getting stronger, Europe will grow weaker with it's leaders France and Germany in danger of economic collapse. The social welfare system is bankrupting those countries and with an aging population it will only get worse. I read that by 2020 the majority of the population in France will be Muslims.

Quote:
Oh, and did you forget your discussion about " morally and ethically corrupt" leaders. Couldn't find any?
You're kidding me, right? We could start with let's say Jacques Chirac and his oil contracts with Iraq totalling 100 billion dollars if Saddam was to stay in power. How about France and Germany refusing to give any money for the Iraq reconstruction, yet they wanted Iraqi reconstruction contracts and are fond voicing their concern over the "welfare" of the Iraqi people. The EU can't even get their own countries to follow EU rules. That includes the Big 2: France and Germany.

Europe's defense is courtesy of the US taxpayers. Our military which is stationed there negates the need for Europe to have it's own defense system other than the UK. Europe is responsible for starting the biggest wars in history, but that is another topic all together. If Bush is re-elected, the American military stationed in Europe and South Korea are predicted to be pulled out and finally brought home. That should make most of you happy at least. You will finally be able to function on your own.

I can't say anything about Finland. Finland was the only country to pay us back for the money we gave Europe to rebuild after the war. Other countries did not pay the money back and the debts were forgiven.

I hope the US don't pull its forces out of Europe. We need them to guard against the threat of the Soviet Union. Oh wait, that was decades ago.

I hope they don't pull there forces from Okinawa. We need them to rape Japanese school girls. Oh wait, the Japanese want them out.

Oh, hang on a minute. They need to pull out their forces because they are at war against TERROR and are stretched for resources.

The time they win the war against TERROR is the time the word no longer appears in the dictionary.

And you shouldn't speak about Europe as if it is one country.

And thank you US taxpayers for making Europe a safe place.

Like I said, people will be happy. What's your argument?

At least we make the effort to do something about it, and not try and bury our heads in the sand while appeasing the terrorists.

Probably not.

Europe is not a safe place. Well, except from each other.

Most. I'm guessing that doesn't include Spain.

It does include Spain. There is the threat of 'terrorism' in many countries. It doesn't mean they are unsafe.
