very easily - i oppose war in general... i am a supporter of war as the last option...
So u oppose it when it suits u.......

but - that being said - the war has started - what is the point in saying "bring our troops home" - they have met lots of resitance but look what happened last time they did that - all the people who were waiting to be protected by US etc were disappointed and slaughtered for deserting...

for the reason above yes
To make a point that this War was opposed by huge international opposition that will be noted in History - next time some other 'super-power' wants a swipe at someone. It will show whether that opposition was justified.. Or not... Take Vietnam for example... Opposition was clearly justified.

It is felt by many that this war will leave behind a huge mess. By showing such opposition, the next time someone tries to pre-empt something a glance at the History books will set clear precidant as to the possible impact. (point repeated twice - but in different ways )

IF everyone in History took this attitude... Nothing would ever have got done!!
let's not get into history - but you have to remember that war is fought for many selfish reasons...
But a glance at History - will show what an impact can be made.

history moves along from the ground level upwards - it's not just bush fighting the war - it's many americans because of the support he has for it - the test will be if they still support him when taxes go up and resistance gets stronger during the siege of Baghdad
- But as u say.. whats the point of opposing him - if the wars happening anyway??

The fact that fighting has started - doesn't change the fact that an illegal injustice - IMO - is being performed.... & should be challenged!!

it's an illegal war yes - i can't think of any legal wars
By International communtiy - this is supposed to be the 21st century - not 1602
