well this 2 days ago my girlfriend broke up with me and I'm totally heart broken.about her?sure but I've lost girlfriends before so I know I'll get over that the real reson my heart is broken is that she has a son(who is 1 year old) who I love like my own son and the hardest thing I've ever had to do is say good bye to him,nothing in my life has ever hurt me more so I wrote this poem and I'd like to see what you guys think of it and if ya think I should give it to her.

here it goes:

A Stepdad's Goodbye

The moment we first met
I held you in my arms
I made you my best friend
I promised to love you 'till the end

Although our live's will change
My heart remains the same
Cause even though we are apart
You're memory lives in my heart

You always were a special one
Your magic inside won't come undone
I'll never forget the moment's that we had
I'll always love you like my own son

Don't worry about me I'll be allright
anything you need , I will provide
I'm already proud of the man you will become
I'll always love you like my own son.
