They nicked the idea from FHM who did the exact same thing a while back. they also sold a bucket of london water, the ark of the covenant (a shoe box), a dead seagull.....etc etc.

damn richie iw as just going to say the fhm dead seagull one. what else did they have, a skeleton of a crocodiles jaw and a day at the fhm office. turned out some reporter from the guardian or somethign was determined to get in and do a report on them so fhm had to bid about 5 grand to stop him.

theres a guy thats been pointed out on harmony central forums saying he;s got guitars that belonged to carlos santana and avril lavigne.

doesn;t sound too bad but the guy was asking for 200,000 each. stupid yet? nope, he had 2 yup not 1 but 2 magical long lost santana guitars that he just happened to come across. it gets better, he had no photos or any actual proof of these existing and just said he would only show photos to the winning bidder.

hmmm yeah i think i can throw away 200 G's.

there was a guy selling an air guitar too as in an actual airguitar u know pose about in ur room etc... and i think someone bid about 25 quid on it.

i think whoever bought the taylors been done cos there's only 3 of them in exisance. richie owns 2 and either taylor or the rock n roll hall of fame has the 3rd and jim taylor or whatever he's called said to actually build cost 20 grandf and thats without looking into the designing, planning etc... and that he'd never make one again no matter how much money he was offered.

it's easy enough to make an inlay logo like the taylor or gibson ones and have a luther install it into the headstock.

and the answer to £10,000 is exactly. nice way to make alot of money ripping someone off.
