My mom usually waits for the Santa Claus parade, which is this weekend. Then she starts gradually putting up decorations. The tree doesn't go up until the week before Christmas though. I just cannot wait for my mom and my Oma to start baking Forget the nice decorations...I want Christmas cookies!

Ive bought all my cards and am gonna start writing them next weekend. Decs usually go up beg of december although a women at work has already decorated our office Was out shopping yesterday and liked seeing the xmas lights and heard "feed the world" for the first time this year too The worst bit is taking them all down though.................

I try for the week of Thanksgiving since I have time off work. I'm considering not putting up a tree this year though.
