Personally I don't think it is just that part which is the problem, but the fact that it is done at all when it is an unnecessary, cosmetic procedure. Yes there might be slight health benefits, but surely it is better just to teach him how to clean himself properly and then when older to use safe sex methods, rather than just chopping part of his body off. We evolved to have foreskins, therefore there must be a good purpose to them being there, so leave them alone.
