I just watched the Al Gore movie/lecture "an inconvieniant truth".

IMO it is a great shame that the man didnt become president, not only for America but for the rest of the world aswell.

There are certain things that he talks about that make me wonder if the damage we have already done will be too much for the planet to take? , and it is scary.

Ive also just watched the movie/documentary "who killed the electric car". i had no idea that these cars had been made and used in California in recent years, and then removed from the roads for various reasons. (It seems mainly in the interests of continuing the obscene profits made by the oil companies).

I was wondering if Bush is still trying to drill for oil in Alaska or if thats idea has been dropped now?
