It comes down to not giving a crap and too many people don't give a crap, afterall, why should they have to use normal cars instead of gas-guzzling, fume-pumping mostrosities that they so love to take their kids to school and do their shopping in? <sigh>

Recycling is so much more accessible now than it has ever been so there really is no excuse not to do so and anybody who doesn't is just plain lazy, ignorant and selfish IMO.
