It happened to us with Rio after Japan 02, he has a brilliant tourament so he went to Man U. To be fair, you couldnt blame him for wanting to go.

I think the problem is we have too many players playing out of form, and in fairness players who are being picked on reputation. Michael Owen is the big one... Had a terrible season, looked shocking towards the end, still gets his starting slot and does nothing with it AT ALL. One chip does not justify his place... Versell has had less time and done much more when he's been on.

Midfield I think looks extremely stong on paper. Gerard who I tip to be one of THe best players in the world in a few seasons hasnt' done very much yet. Lampard seems to start to show why he's been picked and then fade. Beckham and Scholes are both showing glimpses, good balls but neither living up to their reputations.

So far we've been solid without having the individuals shinning, Rooney asside. We have to team peformance, and if our big game players start to show what they're capable of then I think we'll start to cause teams real problems, and play exciting football.

Also, I was right with teh score predicion Don't think Croacia will be so easy tho! That said the only thing that beat France last night was their own arrogance. Cockey mother ****ers, moan when they loose, and then as soon as they get 1-0 up they're show boating. Rooting for France last night because of the group situation, but really would have loved to see that side loose.

It was increadible, but he shoudln't have been attempting it at 1-0. It was lucky that it landed on his head, alright he aimed in the general area, but had his back to the play. I think he's an amazing player, but it's a bit like Ronaldo at times with United this season, where he's doing too much and showing off too much at a time in the game where the simple balls are going to get goals.
