well quite a game, france vs england wouldnt you agree ritchie? beckham played stellar, missing that penalty shot. he certainly dictated the pace of the game right? i think beckham was lost in the pace of the game is a better statement. he did nothing. one lucky cross in and there were the english praising david beckham their saviour. what about the other 89 minutes and 59 seconds plus stoppage time? it is as if he was never on the field. england did not lose the game beckham lost the game. u can see hes trying at least, i mean, he shaved his head so his hair wouldnt be the centre of his thoughts. hes drowning england like hes drowning real madrid. hel be quickly forgiven im sure. after all, cant stay angry with your "saviour" when is the world going to realize beckham is not the star he is because of his soccer skill but because of his pretty boy face; only a boy, a boy in a mans game.

fous le camp!

All Beckham did wrong was miss the penalty & it was a good save!!
I agree with ONEwildnight, Beckham had a very average game, you can see the difference in class between ZZ and Becks, ZZ kept his cool and slotted their penalty in, wheras Becks was prob thinking more about running to the crowd celebrating than actually scoring it

how does that make me look stupid? i'm confused :s if anything, it makes your point that the spanish league is far better than the english league pointless, as beckham plays there and the majority of the french team are in england. please, enlighten me with your wisdom.

and since when was it an argument?!

onewildnights brother again

it became an argument when you made a totally ignorant and uncalled remark towards canadians. there are things i could say against the english but i will do the canadian thing and be the better man and not stoop to low levels. it shows a low maturity level when one has to resort to ignorant comments just because he has no valid argument. going back to soccer, ok MOST of the french team does play in england....other than them who? a couple medium class english players and thats about it ....and you want to showcase that. if my league had this little talent i wouldnt draw attention to it. also, in regards to what someone else here said, how all that beckham did wrong was miss the penalty shot; technically you are correct since that was all he did in the whole game. Think twice before making anymore ignorant comments towards peoples cultural backrounds.
bye

Beckham hit exactly the same penalty as Zidane. Only difference is that David James dived the wrong way. You really do have a lot of bad things to say about Beckham don't you? Are you attempting some sort of pre-emptive rebutal of any homoerotic rumours we may start about the two of you? :P

Oh, and since when was football a mans game?
